Originally intended to be a chimney for John Edward Wainhouse's Dye Works, Wainhouse Tower is now one of the most recognisable landmarks in Calderdale. Standing at a height of 253ft the tower enjoys uninterrupted views across Halifax and the wider district and visitors can climb it's 403 steps to take in these vistas. The tower is only open on a limited number of days, however, so please check below for details.

Opening Times:
Open between 11 am and 4 pm (last ascent 3.30 pm). Easter Monday, 1st April, May Day, Monday 6th May, Spring Bank, Monday 27th May, Father's Day, Sunday 16th June, Sunday 21st July, August Bank Holiday, Monday 26th August.

Adults £2.00, Children (Under 16) £1.50, Family Tickets £5.00
